    After visiting GSMNP in October of 2005, I can honestly say that this is most definitely one of the best times to go. I enjoyed your post, and couldn’t help but laugh as I saw some of myself (leaving needed equipment), as well as seeing the “boy-scouts” in some of the people I met along the way. Wonderful pictures and a great read.
