1 thing you regret:
1. I think I wish I gave law school a chance. But only if I could be retired from law by now and doing exactly what I’m doing this moment.
I never could have hacked law school. Once, in the undergrad dorms, I helped this woman study for some sort of pre-law class (yes, yes, to get into her pants, and no, it didn’t work, that kind of stuff never worked for me, no matter how many times I tried it). I would read her a case, and she would have to say how it was decided and why. The way it was set up, I had to flip to a different section of the book to find the answer. Thus, I was able to play along, too.
Now, admittedly, I hadn’t taken the class, and she had. Nevertheless, I didn’t make a single correct guess. Worse, every single answer seemed counterintuitive to me. That’s when I decided I wasn’t “right” for law.
