My friend Deanna, a great singer and songwriter from Charlotte, has a problem. Maybe we can use the power of the Internet to find a solution:
I’m appealing to all of you to help me find a home for our cat Spirit. She’s a cool indoor/outdoor cat. She has never torn up furniture and gets along well with our three dogs! She even occasionally walks with us to the park. She’s completely up-to-date with all her shots and stuff and will be bringing to her new home everything a cat needs, like a litter box, toys, food.
The problem for us is that she is an expert hunter. Everyday, she brings us a new prize we don’t want — mostly birds, but she’ll take on snakes, squirrels — whatever she sets her sights on. We tried a bell and then a bigger bell.
Could you all help network and spread the word? Please send this on to anyone you think may be interested. Perhaps there is a farm that would benefit from her talent. We really can’t keep her any longer — so if you know of anyone, or if any of you are interested, please write me back or call me.
