As usual, the cherry tree in our back yard has decided to bloom while the weather is still decidedly wintery. Even in the dismal weather, it really is lovely:
Some goldfinches (still very practically dressed in winter coats) have settled in and are trying to stay warm in the tree’s upper branches:
