Pluto, Schmuto
Meh.
That’s all I have to say about the whole Pluto thing. You can barely distinguish it from a bit of dust on your photographic plate, and that’s on a good day. Its orbit isn’t in the same plane as the rest of the planets, and it’s likely that there are other similar “planets” even further out. Heck, from the surface of Pluto, the Sun wouldn’t look much different from any other star.
I’d say even calling it a “dwarf planet” is probably giving it too much credit. Midget planet, on the other hand ….
