I just realized that I’ve been piling all the articles I’ve been reading for Cognitive Daily for nearly a year now in one stack. It’s over 170 articles, and the pile itself is quite impressive:

Over ten inches of dense, two-column text — that’s a whole lot of psychology knowledge. You might wonder if I’m beginning to approach Greta’s level, whether I’m becoming a psychology expert myself. Well, Greta has five 60-inch long file drawers worth of articles she’s read stored in her lab — and that’s not even counting books, journals she subscribes to, and articles she’s read online. With the help of photoshop, I’ve created an image to show the relative levels of Greta’s psychology reading and my own. Here you go:

Somehow, I don’t think I’ll be catching up to Greta anytime soon.
