Making up the Mind by Chris Frith
Group D: 8,950 women without breast cancer, and with negative mammography.
Group C is the 9.6 percent false positive: P(X|~A).
So the screening gives a positive result in 950 women who don’t have cancer and only 100 women who do have cancer.
