As promised, here’s my updated weight after 7 weeks of rich European food.
I weighed 217 pounds at the start of the trip, and today I weighed 215. I lost 2 pounds in Europe! Even though that’s been my pattern in the past, I’m still surprised. I ate a lot, and didn’t skimp on desserts or numbers of courses. Serving sizes, especially the last two weeks in Prague, Vienna, and Greece, were enormous.
I’ve registered for the Kiawah half-marathon this December, so maybe I’ll be able to get that weight even lower by then.
