My mom thought you looked great!! It’s such fun to read about this grand adventure!!!

Your mom reads my blog? My mom doesn’t even read my blog!

Seriously, though, I’m glad you’re both enjoying reading about it; it’s been a great experience (both the experience itself and the experience of writing about the experience).

I would vote for #9, 8 or 6… in that order! Look’s like y’all had the trip of at least 4 lifetimes!

I’m surprised you don’t mention the size of European showers, especially those included in tubs. The tubs are exceptionally narrow by American standards and the “shower” is often only a shower head on the end of a wand with NO shower curtain.

You know, in the past I’ve had that complaint, but oddly, our shower situation in Europe this time was quite quite good. We had one really cramped shower in Tuscany, with no place to put the soap, but otherwise they were generally quite spacious. There were a couple places with inadequate shower curtains (hint: it should be long enough to reach the floor and it should actually extend around the entire shower area), but otherwise we did quite well on the shower front.
