My mention of Shalom in the Home a few months ago apparently gained the notice of actual people working with the actual show. A couple days ago I got this notice from a publicist for the show, who specifically mentioned my post:
None of us have a monopoly on wisdom when it comes to raising kids and we can all use a little help. That’s why The Learning Channel’s ‘Shalom in Home’ is looking for all types of families to help in season 2 of our hit series. Rabbi Shmuley, a father of eight himself and someone who has counseled families for two decades will come to your home, assess the situation and work with you on the show to become the best parents you can be.
The New York Times said “he gets results”. “A self-help sensation” Miami Herald. “Smart, insightful” Associated Press
If you’re interested we are looking for ALL TYPES of families with children.
You can either apply online via www.tlc.com/shalom or call us on 646 763 8189
So, dear readers, if you’re looking for an interesting experience and you live in the greater New York area, why not give it a shot?
