Hard to believe, isn’t it? Word Munger is now two years old. Just a year ago, Word Munger took his first baby steps. Now he’s toddling around so quick, you can hardly keep up with him. You might think he would have grown a little slower during his second year, but he’s actually made more posts in the past twelve months than he did during his first year.
Word Munger is still growing so fast that it’s worthwhile to take a moment to savor the memories of the past year.
I also had the brilliant idea of putting a book in blog form. I even tried to do it, but I got frustrated by the process and didn’t quite finish. Now the site is mainly a good place for comment spam. But it’s still a good idea.
I did a lot of travel blogging last year. I started in Atlanta, moved on to the Great Smokies, then to the American Southwest, and finally to L.A. and the Sierras. I even covered my High School reunion in Seattle.
Instamunger made its debut this year. And no, I’m not going to link to each of the posts individually. But here’s what Instamunger’s all about.
In February, I compared my psychology knowledge to Greta’s. Most enlightening.
In March, I wrote a bit about religion, and a lot about abortion (see above).
And if you want to see what I was writing in April, scroll down.
All in all, it’s been a good year for Word Munger. I think I’ll keep this “blog” thing up for another year or so.
