I’m currently stale-ifying bread for stuffing using the oven. Oh, for the good old days, when we just went to the store and bought pre-made croutons. Or the really good old days, when people just happened to have stale bread lying around.
We’re having some great old friends in from out of town, and some great new friends from in town. None of the extended family is coming (it’s a minimum of 2,000 miles for them), but they’ll be in our thoughts.
