I’m a lazy blogger. I don’t like to traipse about all over the Net, finding the latest and greatest links about just about everything. I’m a blogger of habit, reading and responding to the same few dozen sources, week after week.
Sorry if you don’t like that, but that’s just the way I am. Anyway, I’ve recently noticed that there were a few links on my list that I tended to skip over: they’re either too infrequently updated, too bizarre, or too obsessed with some sort of trivium that I couldn’t care less about.
So after six months or so of procrastination, I finally decided to re-vamp my list. In typically lazy fashion, I did it by going through Scott Esposito’s list and picking the blogs that appealed to me.
What do I like in a blog? Most importantly, it must be well-written. I’m not going to wade through clunky prose waiting for some know-it-all to make his point. It can’t be too “newsy” — I’m looking for something a little meatier than that. Other than that, I really can’t say. I do think I’ve picked some good ones.
I’ll leave you to suss out the blogs that got cut, but here are the new ones (Remember I’m a lazy blogger, so I’m not putting these in link form. You can use the list to the left for that.):
